The three-layer model measures the structure of the brain network, its dynamics in real conditions, and its ability to remain coherent under pressure. It already represents a significant leap forward from traditional psychometrics. But the quality of the process by which the brain models its environment is not captured by the model presented so far. An integration is therefore needed.

The other can have an efficient network but a rigid predictive process that is insensitive to changes in conditions.
